Purchase Questions

Know exactly how the products and licences work.

Clear answers before you purchase or share the handbook with your team.

Can one property manager use the handbook at more than one property?

Yes. An individual Handbook or Complete Bundle licence is for one named user. That user may use it internally across the properties they personally manage or are professionally responsible for.

Should each building manager have their own copy?

If a building manager, superintendent or other staff member needs their own ongoing access to the full Handbook or Bundle, they should have their own individual licence or be covered by a team or business licence.

How is the standalone Resource Package licensed?

The standalone Resource Package is licensed for one building. Reasonable copies of its forms may be printed and used internally at that building.

Does the handbook replace a building's Fire Safety Plan?

No. It is an educational and operational resource. It does not replace an approved Fire Safety Plan, required inspections or testing, qualified professional services, applicable requirements or AHJ direction.

Is the apartment handbook specific to one province or state?

No. The handbook is written to be broadly useful and jurisdiction-neutral. Users must always follow the codes, standards, approved procedures and requirements that apply to their own building.

When will the Restaurant Fire Safety Handbook be available?

It is currently in development. Subscribe to Fire Safety Handbook updates to receive launch information when the final release is ready.
